Common Insight XS and XST Applications
Building Moisture Indentification Quickly, easily and accurately locate potential moisture issues behind interior walls, in ceilings or under carpet-covered floors. The InSight XS & XST will easily display any temperature differences created by the presence of moisture differently than the surrounding area making identification a breeze.
Building Energy Audits The InSight XS and XST can identify surface temperature variations of the building envelope, which relates to problems in the structure, thermal bridging, moisture content and air leakage. As a result, energy audits of residential and commercial buildings can be performed and provide the owner information to increase the thermal efficiency and resolve insulation problems.
Home Inspection Home inspection applications are ideal for infrared technology. Infrared inspection using the IR-Insight XS provides homeowners with practical solutions and cost effective guidance to solving a homes thermal problems.
The InSight VOx Thermal Sensor Technology Advantage
Superior VOx IR detection technology The IR-InSight® combines the world’s most sensitive uncooled IR detector material, Vanadium Oxide, with proprietary Read Out Integrated Circuitry (ROIC) along with a vertically integrated manufacturing process to deliver the ultimate in detector thermal performance and value. Other uncooled sensor materials used in competitive IR cameras do not possess the high levels of thermal sensitivity and accuracy of VOx. Because VOx sensors deliver the best thermal sensitivities available on the market today, the IR-InSight® camera finds more thermal anomalies and provides more cost savings and superior return on investment than competitive brands. This is especially true when diagnosing moisture problems. Most moisture problems will generate relatively small temperature changes. If the sensor in the camera does not have enough thermal sensitivity and accuracy, you may miss some key problem areas.
The largest, sharpest, most detailed IR image Simply put, the IR-InSight® camera delivers the best thermal sensitivity, finds more thermal anomalies, and records and displays on the largest display of any infrared cameras available today. Best of all, this unsurpassed combination of technology and performance is available at a price competitive with other IR cameras having far less thermal sensitivity.
The IR-InSight XS is available in the following configurations:
- IS-104913 IR-InSight XS
Includes camera, SightView Pro PC software, premium carrying case, battery charger, 2 three hour rechargeable batteries, RS-232 and RS-232 to USB adapters, a neck strap and instructional manual.
- IS-104914 IR-InSight XST
Includes everthing the standard XS model has, but adds temperature readings to the camera feature. This allows the temperature of the center point of the image to be displayed. |
