I have found using this product to reveal inaccuracies in my rotometer,

I have owned this product for about one year. I bought it because I
moved from a low altitude (Phoenix) to a high one 7,000 feet. In theory,
the difference in altitude affects the accuracy of the rotameter. I didn't find
that as critical as I did the readings of the rotameter in general. It was
some what accurate at 15l/m (the center of the rotometer) but varied
significantly on the upper end (28l/m) from actual. I also discovered that
the rotometer can drift during use.
Now I state with confidence that I both know the actual flow rate, and
more importantly that it didn't drift significantly during the middle of the
investigation.
This particlar model will also work for low flow some what. I used to to
calibrate a low flow pump recently to 200ml/min. With out the DC-Lite I
would have been out of luck, since the low flow pumps aren't accurate at
that low of flow rate (go fugure - they call them selves "low flow" pumps).
I am so glad I have this instrument.
It's also very easy to use. Altoguh at first I was a bit frustrated because
the directions aren't so easy.
