This IAQA course prepares you for the following AmIAQ certification: Council-certified Indoor Environmentalist
The American IAQ Council offers the Council-certified Indoor Environmentalist to individuals with expertise in the fundamental principles of indoor environmental quality. The certification documents their skills and knowledge base with respect to the building trades in a manner that could be relied upon by individuals and organizations seeking their services as employees, consultants or advisors for the investigation of problems and the oversight of prevention or remediation projects in indoor environments. The certification application process includes the review, verification and approval of examination results, credentials, education and experience by an independent certification board.

Ian is a very engaging speaker. The manual was a powerpoint presentation, I
prefer the now rare written refernce book.
I felt vey prepared for the exam.
Ian is also helpful in followup after the classes, he is the best asset you will gain!

I am not a fan of classroom training and powerpoint presentations.
Having said that, the CIE training course offered by Chelsea Training was,
in my opinion, an excellent class for a wide variety of IAQ professionals.
The course was small enough to allow for good interaction between course
participants and was detailed enough to teach even seasoned and
skeptical professionals new information that sould help us do a better job.
I really appreciate the extra effort extended by the instructors to present
practical information for real remediation situations, as well as the
necessary information to score well on the written exam. Well done.

There is nothing like sitting in a class with your peers...everyone has a
horror story. Our instructor was GREAT. I know because one of my
degrees is in instructional design. These folks do it right. We walked
away with hundreds of years of experience from instructors and
classmates. Clients always ask if IAQ is "the wild west" and we direct
them to the IAQA web site to validate our certifications. They aleays call
back. If you only take one course each year this should be the one.
