This product comes equipped with a WallChek® unit, stud finder, hand drill, in-line filter, 6 Air-O-Cell® cassettes, 5 Air-O-Cell® adapters, 10 feet of PVC tubing, and carrying case. Ease of use: Somewhat. You have to be carfull when drilling to minimize
generating dust. Otherwise the sample becomes overloaded with dust and
you can't see the mold spore through the debirs.
The ability to do wall-checks is a must. You don't however need all that
this kit has to offer: I find stud finders unreliabel. I use a tiny drull bit to
test the waters before using the 1/4 drill bit.
Who has time for a hand-drill? Use a battery operated one on the
SLOWEST setting.
The in-line filter is critical to avoid cross-contaminatiing the living space
with air from the wall.
Untill there's a better way to test walls for mold (non-destrcutively) this is
it.
